Spring has definitely arrived where I live. The squirrels are facing off across the road and then madly chasing each other in that crazy squirrel way. The woodpeckers start their day at 7 a.m., jackhammering on the roof of my house, trying, I think, to get the female’s attention. And the male turkeys are hovering around the females in all their puffed up splendor. (Although, the females don’t seem all that impressed.)
My husband counted 42 turkeys in our driveway last week. How could I resist?
