Queen of Hearts
In our family my granddaughter Georgia, who turns four this weekend, is the Queen of Hearts. I'm not sure she really needs a symbol of her power and authority, but just in case, my husband made her this wooden scepter.

Rear View
I was waiting in line for the drive-up window at the bank and saw an appealing image in my rear view window. The back wall of a building at the end of the drive had been painted half brick/raw sienna and half gray. In front of the wall were bushes with red and green leaves.
This painting doesn't really capture just how pretty it was.
