Hi Sharon. Such a sweet still life, so uncomplicated (I tend to clutter mine up!). The leaves on the primrose are great; and I love how the lemons really sit in the bowl. Nice choice/handling of the fabric too. Am I imagining it, or was this setup influenced by your recent oil painting?
I saw a bumper sticker on a car once that said ART SAVES! At the very least, art transports. There's a wonderful meditative quality when one is totally immersed in the present moment, working on a drawing or painting. It is both energizing and intoxicating.
Thanks for stopping by. I welcome your suggestions and critiques.

It's probably bookmarked by me elsewhere...there are so many wonderful blogs that I visit and enjoy, it is impossible to list them all.

Lovely, Sharon.
Wow, Sharon--you seem so at ease going back and forth between the oils and watercolors. I'm impressed. Love these colors here! So fresh.
Ah, primroses. They personify spring.
This is just charming. I love the movement in this painting - the pattern on the cloth pulls your eye from one part of the painting to another.

This really works for me. The colors and set-up make for a really nice painting.
