A gathering of apples

Apples have replaced pears in my painting affections.

Absolutely stunning! I love the colors you used here. They are so strong and remind me of the candy apples I used to love when I was a kid. Gorgeous brushwork too!

BEAUTIFUL apples Sharon! They have a little Van Gogh in them! A great series of fruits and veggies in oil..

Brava, my friend! Your apples make me want to reach out and touch them. I love the warm background, and the brilliant highlights.

Love this! The slices have such a lush flesh color and the whole apple is really just perfect! I could never paint Delicious apples--can't get the shape or the color!--and have always had to settle for the rounder, greener MacIntoshes!
