This is the kind of mail I would prefer not to receive. I'm sure you all know what it is. And where it's headed. Graphite and colored pencil on Bristol
This is my first visit to your blog...from the EDM message board. I love your drawings! Your envelope is great and I enjoyed seeing all of your fruit. Nice work!
I dig this interpretation of the challenge. It tells a story: from pre-crumpled to post-crumpled...and the shadow is slightly more uncrumpled than the actual envelope. Through the subtle matching of the shadow color with the 'offer' text, it evokes the spectre of some kind of unwanted resurrection...like it is a monster that will haunt you again and again. (Is today Halloween?!)

Wonderful blog entry! Love the drawing. Did you find that envelope in the trash or something? Cool. Have a grand day!
