September Virtual Sketch Draw


My most recent attempt to paint a tree peony which is this month's subject for virtual sketch draw.

I really like how you used the red in the center of the peony and played it off the green leaf. The edges of your petals are fantastic too. Thank you for the beautiful and challenging reference.

It's beautiful, Sharon. I love the gray of the tabeltop, but mostly I love how wetly you painted it, how you let the paint diffuse; it has a very Romantic feel to it!
