Foggy Foliage

I had to drive into town very early on a foggy morning last week. The low lying fog and beautiful fall foliage against the dark evergreens was very dramatic. I tried to capture it from memory today.

Oh, gorgeous. And I know that the actual scene would be something that would haunt me and color my whole day. I just love the autumn mists.

Lovely, Sharon--the colors and shapes are perfect, as is the overall softness--the way you allowed the colors to blend without forcing/pushing, really let them retain their brightness. Beautiful painting!!

Great job of capturing fall. The rain has started here so all our color will be leaving us soon. I hope I can remember it as well as you have.
