Too gorgeous to pass up...

I'm not a fan of Martha Stewart, but I couldn't resist buying the February issue of Living magazine. Aren't the colors fabulous!  These frosted cupcakes are so pretty, I'm not sure I could bring myself to eat them.

It's a good day in Oregon. The sun is shining and mom is pleased with her new room in rehab. She even took a few steps during physical therapy today.

Oh wow, that is amazing, thanks so much for sharing! It is one of those wonderful encounters which simply sparks open the creative sluices ... it's as if I can hear my right brain waking up, just looking at the beautiful colours!

(blissful sigh)

I agree on the cover--she often has the best photos in various areas..

Good news! Can you imagine making that many colors of icing?! Luckily for Martha she has her minions.
One year when I put on a big spread for Melyssa and her little girlfriends, one little girl, about eight, said to me, "You're like Martha Stewart ... I mean in a good way"!

I used to be a big Martha fan in the '80's but lost interest somewhere along the way. The cupcakes are amazing!

Oh, I can so relate to hearing about your mom--I'm happy you can see her feeling better. It's so hard, I think, to watch someone else go through difficulties--you feel so helpless to do anything for them. I hope she continues to do better and feel better. That cover is gorgeous--I saw it at the grocery store and it made me want a cupcake, too.
