Two tulips

A lost edge doesn't really work if there's an ink drawing underneath.

Number of days until Bush's last day in office: 11

These are gorgeous Sharon--beautifully drawn for starters. I love how the colors mingle in the leaves on the top one; and the lost edge on the bottom is so lively!
(ps Did you get your "commemorative" inauguration invitation in the mail yet? It's great: encouraging everyone do do a day of volunteer work on the 19th, MLK day!)

I don't know, I love anything loose and spontaneous. I think they both look great!

Perfect. That's all.

They look lovely to me, too, Sharon,
and I love the way that bottom flower just flows, but would the fact that something doesn't suit you mean that you are really itching to try those lost edges without an ink drawing underneath? There are so many things to try, aren't there... if we just had time...

Both are perfect. Absolutely WATERCOLOR, what watercolor should be doing on paper.
